Project SOAR Survey for Spanish, Vietnamese, or Arabic Speaking Families

Seeking parents of kids under 3 who primarily speak Spanish, Vietnamese, or Arabic. Paid Survey!

Hello!

Project SOAR (Screen Often and Accurately Refer), a Louisiana project focused on compensating parents, guardians, and caregivers, across the state is seeking to learn about their experiences with screenings, referrals, and follow up during prenatal and well-child visits.

Project SOAR is doing this by distributing a survey to parents and caregivers all over Louisiana.  Currently, we do not have input from families who speak Arabic, Spanish, or Vietnamese. We hope that you will take this chance to help us include voices of parents and caregivers, like you, who primarily speak Arabic, Spanish, or Vietnamese!

You are eligible to take our survey if you:

  • Primarily speak Arabic, Spanish or Vietnamese

  • Live in Louisiana or have lived in Louisiana in the past 4 years

  • Have at least one child under the age of 4

  • Have gone to some of all of their child’s well-child check-ups with a doctor or nurse in Louisiana

In the survey, you get to share your thoughts and feelings about your experiences during:

• Caregiver depression screenings during prenatal visits

• Caregiver depression screenings during the child’s well-child checkups

• Developmental screenings during well-child checkups for children you care for under 4 years

• Referrals and follow-up services in response to these screenings

• And any recommendations you have that would improve screenings, referral and follow up services.

Participants will be paid a $50 check to complete a one-time questionnaire.
