Summer Cultural Arts Enrichment Program
This summer, The Performing Arts Academy is excited to again offer students the opportunity to engage in arts enrichment activities in the following areas:
- Music Theatre
- Chorus
- Band & Strings
- Dance
- Piano
- Visual Art
When: Monday - Friday, June 2 - 13, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Showcase: Friday, June 13 at 6:00 PM
Who: Students currently in grades 3-7 who are recommended by their cultural arts teacher, principal and/or assistant principal are invited to apply. If you are interested, inquire about a possible recommendation with your principal or cultural arts teacher at your school. Achievements in the arts, academics, attendance, attitude, and discipline are prerequisites for recommendation and participation.
Additional Information:
Due to generous support from the below organizations, the participation fee for this program is only $150 per student. There is an additional $25 fee for any student wishing to utilize bus transportation. Many costs are not included in this fee and are generously covered by the support of Metropolitan Human Services District, The Meraux Foundation, The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation, and St. Bernard Parish School Board. We thank them for their support of arts enrichment for students in our community.
