Re: Notification of Asbestos Inspection and Management Plan Availability

To Whom It May Concern: The Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) required the nation’s schools to conduct detailed inspections to identify all asbestos-containing materials that might be present in the school environment. AHERA required the inspection results and the associated Management Plan be submitted to the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ). A copy of the Management Plan must be kept and maintained at the school administrative office for review by the public.
