  • $2 Dress Down Days

    We have two $2 Dress Down Days for the month of August.  They will be Friday, August 17 and Friday, August 31.  You may pick up a list of acceptable attire if you are unsure as to what you are allowed to wear.

  • School Pictures

    School pictures will be taken on the morning of Tuesday, August 21.  If you wish to purchase photos, please send money that day to be given directly to the Raymar photographers.  Homeroom teachers will not be collecting money.

    The faculty and staff of Andrew Jackson Middle School are committed to collaborative teaching and incorporating strategies that promote student-focused discussions and interaction. They strive to make sure every student grows intellectually and emotionally.  AJMS has a very diverse population. Therefore, we appreciate differences and vow to learn from people of all cultures and ethnicities.

    Andrew Jackson Middle School’s students always strive to attain academic and social success by observing the core values of respect, responsibility, persistence and achievement. Additionally, AJMS students make every effort to achieve their personal best by demonstrating respect, enthusiasm, achievement, citizenship and hard work.

    Andrew Jackson Middle School operates on the premise that parents, students, teachers, and the school administration must work together to achieve success. The complete alliance of each of the aforementioned groups is a necessary component to garner success!

    Today is #TeacherFeatureWednesday, and the St. Bernard Parish School Board would like to salute Amber Moreland at Andrew Jackson Middle School. Ms. Moreland is an Art and Journey to Careers Teacher at Andrew Jackson and is known for integrating literacy into all of her classes.
