Hello, my name is Mr. Everett Weiner and I am a Social Studies and English teacher at Andew Jackson.  I was born and raised in New Orleans, and I graduated from Isidore Newman High School in 1991.  I went to the University of New Orleans and graduated with honors in 2017 earning a degree in Secondary Education with a focus in Social Studies.  After graduating I earned my certification in English Language Arts as well.  I chose teaching as my second career because I want to make a difference, and I believe that the best way to make that difference is by being directly involved in the education of young people.

     When I graduated I chose to work in the St.Bernard Parish school system because I believe in the leadership of the dedicated people that have been working here for so many years to create such an incredible school district.  I appreciate the support that they offer their employees in so many different ways.  I look forward to being a part of that team for many years to come, and I can not wait to begin bettering the world by bettering the minds of my students.
