Dawn Garrity is a licensed and nationally certified speech-language pathologist who has been providing speech therapy services for 30 years. Her previous experience includes serving children in public, private, and parochial schools and the Head Start Program.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders at LSU and her master's degree in Communication Disorders at LSU Health - New Orleans - School of Allied Health Professions.
Mrs. Garrity is looking forward to the 2021-2022 school year and working in her hometown with the students and staff at Arlene Meraux Elementary. Her goal as a speech therapist is to empower students to achieve successful communication with their peers and adults in a variety of settings.
