A three year commitment to the St. Bernard Parish School System is required.
Tuition for this program is $4,000; however, the St. Bernard Parish School Board will pay tuition if the candidate teaches in a school in our district for three years.
Candidates who only complete one year will be charged $2,000 for the program.
Candidates who only complete two years will be charged $1,000 for the program.
Praxis exam fees (paid to ETS) varies depending on the number of exams required for certification area. Individual exams cost $90-$150 each.
$50 application fee for a Practitioner License (paid to the LA DOE), due at the end of summer training
