Beginning the week of April 13th, you will be able to locate the weekly assignment under the classwork, homework, & assessments tab. I will also be posting the assignments to Google Classroom. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me via email (nvega@sbpsb.org).
These assignments are required and will be due on Fridays. You will need to be able to have access to IXL, Google Classroom, & Zoom. All of these apps should be accessible through your Clever account.

Ms. Nicole Vega
Nicole Vega is a 9th grade English I teacher. A graduate of Chalmette High School (c/o 2007), Ms. Vega is thrilled to come back as part of the faculty. It is her goal to build the confidence of her students as well as their reading and writing skills. Her Students can expect to read and write a lot. Ms. Vega earned her English degree from the University of New Orleans in 2011 and also has an Associate's degree in Graphic Design from Delgado Community College. Like most English teachers, Ms. Vega enjoys reading and writing in her spare time. Some of her favorite books include the Harry Potter series, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and anything by Neil Gaiman. She hopes to be a published author one day. In addition to reading and writing, Ms. Vega is a self-proclaimed nerd who loves StarWars, Doctor Who, and The Marvel Cinematic Universe. Her favorite Avenger is Ironman. Ms. Vega lives in Chalmette with her husband and two daughters, Gwendolyn and Parker, who are both named after Spider-man characters.
