Mrs. Sharon Landry

Welcome to Ms. Landry’s class! Sharon Landry has been an educator for 27 years and began her career at Chalmette Middle School where she taught English Language Arts until 2005.  She was then in St. Charles Parish for 11 years.  It is an honor to be a part of the St. Bernard Parish family in her seventh year as a 7th grade English teacher at Trist.

She has been married for 25 years and has two daughters, ages 23 and 15.  She enjoys watching them compete in sports and spending time with her family.  She loves to read mystery thrillers, visit friends and family, and play sports herself.

She has high expectations for her students and works alongside them to maximize their growth. We promote empathy for all.  Becoming part of the Trist Legacy is a goal for all of us. Ideally, she wants to spread her passion for reading and ensure that each student feels safe, confident, and successful.

She welcomes parental involvement and encourages communication with parents and guardians.  Working together as a team for your child is the key to positive growth.  Feel free to contact her with any questions, concerns, or contributions to your child’s educational experience.

Together we share and work daily toward the district’s Vision, Effort, and Success for our students.
