Welcome to the official site of Chalmette High School’s cultural arts magazine,
Magnum Opus.
Founded in 2008, Magnum Opus acts as a primary literary and artistic forum for St. Bernard parish, issuing an annual publication of student and alumni works in addition to hosting writing retreats and open-mic nights.
Our next event is the 2016-2017 Young Author's Contest!!
Students may submit original works of fiction or nonfiction, poetry or prose during the month of November to compete.
