Chelsea Easterling is a 7^th grade English Language Arts teacher and Academic Games coach at N. P. Trist Middle School. She also serves as the 7th grade Curriculum Writer for the St. Bernard Parish School Board. Although native to Mobile, AL, this is the fifth year that she has taught in St. Bernard Parish, which she now calls home. Her passion for teaching began when she was afforded the opportunity to teach the First Year Experience course at Florida A&M University where she attended college. Since then, she has fulfilled her desires to be in the classroom. Her experience as an educator allowed her to teach an array of classes: 6^th and 7^th grade English Language Arts, 4-6^th grade Literacy, and 8^th grade Summer Intervention. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Easterling enjoys spending time with family and friends, dancing, and engaging in social activism
