Davies Elementary School, Teacher Feature: Lori Norrell

Today is #TeacherFeatureWednesday, and the St. Bernard Parish School Board would like to salute Lori Norrell of Joseph J. Davies Elementary School as this weeks “Featured Teacher”.  Mrs. Norrell is in her tenth year of teaching second grade at Joseph J. Davies Elementary School and holds a Master’s degree in Administration. Mrs. Norrell is an innovative, compassionate, and respected teacher that works diligently with school and district leaders, teachers, students, and parents to make sure her students reach their highest potential. 

"Lori loves what she teaches and the challenges of helping each of her students learn. Mrs. Norrell’s passion is contagious to all, and she infects each and every one of her students with a love of learning.  Lori does this by capturing her students curiosity daily and igniting their internal fires of learning.  I love-love-love having Lori Norrell as part of my Davies Team!"
