Lacoste Elementary Teacher Feature: Terry Arabie, Paraprofessional
Today is #TeacherFeatureWednesday, and the St. Bernard Parish School Board would like to salute Terry Arabie at Lacoste Elementary School.
"I had the privilege of working with Mrs. Arabie in my classroom last year! She went above all expectations to make every learning experience for my students unique and meaningful. For example, she would conduct experiments by bringing in outside materials and even go as far as extending lessons on her own. She is very determined, hard working, and driven to do the best that she can at any job she takes on! She will go above and beyond to do whatever she can to help a fellow colleague or any student that is in need. Mrs. Arabie is also very personable and trustworthy. She's definitely one of a kind, and I absolutely love having her around!
-Kristen Blazio, Special Education Teacher
"Mrs. Arabie is new to her position as our Title I Paraprofessional. She has shown an enormous amount of enthusiasm and commitment to her new position. She has a 'can do' attitude and is always willing to help wherever she is needed. Our teachers are appreciative of her support, and we are thankful to have Mrs. Arabie as a member of our staff."
-Heather Morel, Assistant Principal
Terry Arabie has been doing an outstanding job in her new role as Title I Aide at Lacoste Elementary. Mrs. Arabie has organized our computer labs and intervention materials for our teachers. She keeps everyone up to date with computer reports to help monitor student progress, and Mrs. Arabie works very well with our students. She is very dependable and is an asset to our school.
