St. Bernard Middle School Teacher Feature: Natasha Waibel, 7th and 8th Grade ELA

Today is #TeacherFeatureWednesday, and the St. Bernard Parish School Board would like to salute Natasha Waibel at St. Bernard Middle School. Natasha Waibel currently teaches 7th and 8th grade ELA at St. Bernard Middle as well as Journey to Careers.  Ms. Waibel is a member of the PBIS Team and selflessly volunteers her time to assist with extracurricular events held at SBM.  She is a huge Eagle fan and supports her students not only in the classroom but in the stands as well.

"Natasha is a welcome member to our SBM family.  Her warm and sweet nature makes her a favorite among faculty  and students alike.  Her impeccable lesson plans yield student success, and she is exceptional at working with colleagues in PLCs.

-Angela Seibert, Acting Principal

"Ms. Waibel is the nicest teacher because she's so calm and quiet.  In class she helps us to understand what we're reading, and she explains it so that we comprehend it.  She also comes to our sports events to support us."

 -Lexie Catania, 8th Grader

"Ms. Waibel is an amazing English and Journey to Careers teacher.  She explains things that I just don't understand.  I couldn't ask for a better teacher."

-Katie Andrus, 8th Grader
